Frank Mulone
The Darling Starling himself, Frank has been cutting and coloring hair for over 15 years. He started out in South End salons and opened Darling Starling in early 2021, creating East Boston's premier boutique salon. Aside from cutting hair, Frank is an artist in many rights - a sculptor, musician, painter, and film maker. He believes communication is the key to great hair. He specializes in all types of cuts and colors along with curly hair.
Christina DiFilippo
After meeting at punk shows in their late teens, Christina is now at the salon every Tuesday. She is known for lived-in blondes, balayage, smoothing treatments and extensions. Now taking new clients!
Derek McClellan
Derek is a close friend of the salon and has worked with Frank since the early 2000s. You can find him popping up at Darling Starling once in a while... For booking, contact Derek directly through his Instagram account.
